Most of my recipes are in some way Frankensteined, in that I look up a whole bunch of recipes and pick from one to add to another before I start testing my combination of recipes; I know, very Post Modern of me. This means that I look at many sources, some of which use different measuring criteria than how I've decided to standardize my own recipes.
